Inspired by the meticulous craftsmanship of Islamic biomorphic patterns, our design process blends these historical insights within a modern eclectic methodology, striving to honour and reimagine the harmony and beauty of our Islamic heritage into our everyday lives.

Our process involves a meticulous layering of symbolism, storytelling, and ornamental details, emphasizing harmony and rhythm inspired by both natural organic forms from nature and historic theological art. Through our work, we seek to bridge the past and present, reviving ancestral wisdom in ways that resonate with Muslims while fostering a deeper understanding of spirituality through the universal language of art.

Art History
Our collections exhibit an eclectic style with thoughtful art history themes. The study of art history deepens this practice for us, offering not just inspiration but a profound philosophical engagement with the past. We are drawn to the layered symbolism of Medieval Illuminated Manuscripts, the meticulous devotion of Islamic illumination, and the poetic intimacy of Persian Miniatures. These traditions do not merely speak to the intellect but to the soul, reminding us that beauty is not a luxury or outward appearance—no, rather it is a sacred principle, an expression of Divine order, and harmony.

To be artists within this Islamic tradition, for us, is a form of devotion—a gesture of gratitude for the unseen beauty and wisdom that pervades our worldly existence. We believe in the significance of stories, symbols, and knowledge that might otherwise be lost. Our mission is to create an Islamic Visual Encyclopedia by translating spiritual, verbal, textual, and scriptural guidance into symbolic and interactive visual experiences to bring us in closeness to and remembrance of Allah (swt), the source of all beauty & wisdom.

Nora
Meet Nora, artist & trained interior architectural designer with a studio practice in illustration. Her work explores biomorphic geometries in nature & Islamic storytelling as she experiments with an eclectic use of colours, patterns, and technology. Outside of art, hobbies include watching lectures on psychology, philosophy, theology & history, playing soccer, and spending time in nature or at the mosque drinking chai with kindred spirits.

Meet Mohammed, a visual abstract thinker & technology professional turned designer; bringing his creative, technical and business expertise in action. He's the brains behind the brand, lead designer of calligraphy & graphic design, print production, business management & client communication. Hobbies include puzzles, spending time in nature, and problem-solving!

Noor - Light, Wisdom & Knowlegde
The Sun — without Allah's guiding light, we find ourselves blinded in the darkness of ignorance and arrogance. Our mission is to make a Visual Encyclopedia of Islamic teachings by translating verbal and scriptural guidance into meaningful, symbolic and interactive forms of visual storytelling. Therefore, we aspire to create a collection of Islamic educational art and revive traditional craftsmanship and wisdom towards enlightenment.

Moon - Phases of the Soul & Introspection
The Moon — symbolizing the soul, is in a constant cycle between void and fulfillment. Our art exposes the transformative nature of spiritual growth, through motifs, symbolism and diagrams. We aim to visually inspire introspection, self-reflection and the various stages and emotions experienced in the pursuit of inner peace and enlightenment. Pulling from Allah’s Divine Quran, ahadith and Prophetic lessons, we believe that by depicting the soul's journey, we can inspire one another to embark on our paths of self-discovery and unity towards reaching nafs-ul-mutmainnah (a calm and peaceful soul, figuratively - a full moon) for the sake of Allah (swt).

Earth - Nature, Colours & Divine Beauty
The Earth — with its bountiful beauty and diverse vibrant colours, serves as a precedent for our illustrations. Allah’s vivid creations in nature, and sacred geometry influence our artwork, as we incorporate its intricacy, and vibrancy into our designs. By doing so, we aim to foster a deep emotive connection between individuals and the natural world, reminding them of Allah's omnipotence and creations that embody beauty, colours, patterns, ornamentation, repetition, craftsmanship, and biomorphic geometry.

Sea - Purification & Reflection
The Sea — known for its vastness, depth, and ability to cleanse, and purify. Through our art, we hope to provoke a similar sense of reflection, tranquillity, contemplation, humility, and self-purification, in relation to Allah (swt), enabling individuals to find serenity in their daily lives through Islamic visual reminders. Through reflection, we hope to enable individuals to form a connection with Allah (swt) deeper than the sea itself.
