Collection: Qur'anic Dua Series

The Qur’anic Dua Series illuminates four famous supplications from the Holy Qur’an through visual border illustrations. These selected verses are widely recited and are often familiar to Muslims through the stories, lessons, and spiritual reflections they carry.

Painted in gouache on 11×14" antique-stained textured cotton paper, each of the four pieces are originally hand-drawn and painted as an illuminated landscape in which colour, pattern, and symbolism convey meaning, virtue, and moral lesson. Drawing from the styles, palettes, motifs, and compositional structures of medieval illuminated manuscripts, these meaningful symbols and colours combined activate pictorial storytelling that invite hope, contemplation, and imagination within the act of supplication to God.
